Could you be part of the Birdwood Area Christmas Advert Calendar?
Following our success in previous years we are again looking for houses who would like to be part of the ’street advent calendar’. Every day between 1st December and 24th December we are aiming for a different house to show something Christmassy in a window. Design can be big or small! All roads are very welcome to take part – Birdwood Road, Ward Road, Chalmers Road, Gray Road, Tiverton Way, Budleigh Close, The Ancaster Estate, St Thomas’s Square/Road. Which window and the design is completely up to you – it doesn’t have to be grand!
How will it work?
If you would like to take part, please email carrie.symington@yahoo.co.uk (or drop a note through 15 St Thomas’s Square) before 13th November. Any questions, get in touch with Carrie.

How will it work?
- Email carrie.symington@yahoo.co.uk to say you would like to participate.
- Carrie will contact you in late November to agree a date with you.
- In December, in the run up to your date, display that date in your window so people can see what’s coming.
- On the day, decorate your window.
- Ideally keep it up until Christmas.
- We’ll send around a list of houses who are participating so you can go and spot the windows each day.
